IMSS provides Digital Card for care and follow-up of pediatric oncology patients / @zoerobledo @Tu_IMSS >>>

#IMSS.- The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) provides mothers, fathers, guardians or caregivers of pediatric oncology patients who are treated at the institution’s medical facilities with the Digital Card, which can be consulted from any device with an internet connection at any time.

The IMSS informed that through this digital tool, caregivers of pediatric oncology patients will be able to view upcoming appointments, treatments, surgeries and the follow-up of their children’s health from their cell phone, tablet or computer.

In order to be able to view this information, a prior registration must be made by the Social Work of the medical unit where the children receive care.

The mother or father will receive an email with a username and password when registering with the Social Work of the Medical Care Unit, i.e., these credentials are not defined at the time of registration with Social Work.

Once the registration is done, the parents, guardians or caregivers of the patients will be able to enter https://apopfamiliares.cloudapps.imss.gob.mx/login, enter the CURP and password registered by Social Work.

Subsequently, they will be able to visualize and know the treatment history of the minor and have access to the information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
